about

This was one of those songs that just came out of me, I didn't understand why or where from. It struck a deep vein in me....again, I didn't understand why, but a few months later I figured it out. Tolan McNeil mines his 80's digital pedal board and lays down an absurd and beautiful guitar solo.

lyrics

I float like a butterfly I sting like a blood-swollen flea
When I was growing up the world belonged to Muhammed Ali
I too was a champion, I don't remember how or why
Now when people say I'm drunk I say I'm weaving
like a butterfly

Chorus
Muhammed Ali
Muhammed Ali

That ain't a rooster crowing it's a digitally transmitted frequency
That ain't a woman crying it's a soundbite from all news TV
That aint a man slowly dying
No, no, it's just me
Just me, me and Muhammed Ali

Chorus
