Heard this song on a rockabilly compilation called Sin Alley - via Gary Field, an obsessive collector of all things recorded - and had to learn it. It became a fixture of my live solo set for a couple of years preceding this recording. This was another song the band learned on the fly on the floor of the studio before we banged it out live. Even though the song almost disintegrates in the first 30 seconds (my version contained some irregularities that threw a curveball at the players) the psychotic energy of this take made it the one to keep.
